Bethanie Housing Ltd (BHL) had their Development Application (DA) approved at the Shire of Capel meeting on Wednesday 26 June to build BHL’s Dalyellup Apartments.
The development will provide affordable housing options for more than 50 seniors in the Southwest, and commence construction in early 2025.
“Thank you to the Shire of Capel for their support in this important project for the region,” said BHL CEO Shane Ogilvie.
“This is a significant step towards providing much-needed affordable housing for seniors in the Shire of Capel and the wider Southwest region.”
Funding for the project will come from a variety of sources including Bethanie, the State and Federal governments, and private financiers.
