Bethanie Gwelup is a contemporary facility containing 112 beds across two floors.  Each room is fitted with all the latest modern conveniences and has been specially designed to reflect a ‘regular’ bedroom, with an on-suite bathroom, wall-mounted TV, and ample storage, giving less of a clinical feel.

An inviting café area allows families to visit for coffee, and various dining styles, such as a la carte or buffet, are set in both large areas and intimate arrangements, giving residents and guests more choices.

Gwelup offers a secure Dementia-specific wing, as well as comprehensive therapy and allied health programs to support active ageing. The site also enjoys a very active social calendar.

Situated opposite Lake Gwelup Reserve, the location is a stunning blend of natural and modern build design.

Costs and funding

There are three options available to pay for your accommodation costs at Bethanie Gwelup

1. Refundable Accommodation Deposit (RAD)
   This is a lump sum payment that is fully refundable when the room is vacated. If this option is selected, the client must be left with a minimum of $58,500 in assets.
   This consists of a minimum lump sum payment of $630,000  
2. Daily Accommodation Payment (DAP)
   This is a daily payment which is not refundable. Consisting of a minimum daily payment of $133.97  
3. Combined RAD and DAP payment
   This gives you the option to pay part lump sum payment and part daily payment.

In addition to these accommodation costs, there are other costs and charges you need to be aware of.
